Understanding the words of the Buddha to let go of the idea of some-one and some-thing

(Suitable for beginners) - Vincent: Yaya still insists on the question about, for example, it should be different if we sit on a chair or we sit on the water.

A. Sujin: Does seeing sit on the chair?

Y. No.

Su. So, what sits on the chair?

Y. The kaya, the body.

Su. Okay, does it arise?

Y. I think yes, the body arises.

Su. Does it sit?

Y. I think so, the body sits.

Su. As long as there is the idea of something there must be the story of such shape and form, legs and arms, sitting and walking and so on, but actually, can there be anything we take for what we call a chair or someone sitting on the chair. So what is the actual reality of what we call body?

Y. The body is composed of different rupas.

Su. What is a rupa?

Y. It's basically the four principal elements.

Su. One by one, please, just only one at a time, a characteristic.

Y. Right, the body, the rupa, different rupas, she picked the eye sense.

Su. So, the eye sense is the body? Does the body, the eye sense, sit on the chair?

Y. No, the eye sense cannot sit on a chair. The body has different parts, the head cannot sit on a chair.

Su. What is a body? You can talk about anything, so many things, but just one by one, please.

Y. Composed by different rupas.

Su. Please, what rupa, different one.

Y. The bone sits on the chair, the bone is earth element.

Su. So what is the characteristic or the quality of the earth?

Y. Hardness.

Su. So, can any hardness sit on the chair?

Y. I think yes, the earth element depends on, they compose the product.

Su. Can anyone change the characteristic of the earth, to make it different from the way it is?

Y. It's different, the hardness of a car and the hardness of the bone is different.

Su. Can it be seen? No matter the hardness of the car or the hardness of the body, can it be seen?

Y. I know the answer is: hardness cannot be seen, but we can judge maybe something is hard by just looking at it.

Su. By one's own thoughts, what about the absolute truth, can anyone change hardness, at any moment when we take it for a car or a chair or anything which is hard? So, it's an unchangeable characteristic. So, can hardness sit on a chair?

Y. Yes, without hardness there cannot be a chair.

Su. No, the question is whether hardness itself which is hard can sit on a chair.

Y. So, earth element is everywhere.

Su. Does it sit?

Y. Yes.

Su. So, a pillow sits on the bed... :)

Y. You can say it's sitting or lying on the bed :)

Su. Okay, the spoon sits on the table, everything sits on...

Y. You can say that they sit on a table :)

Su. You can say, anyone can say, but what about the truth? That's why this is the beginning to understand the absolute reality as no one and nothing at all, otherwise there must be the idea of the sitting, chair, the hardness that sits on the chair and the spoon sits on table or lying there and so on, all the time, as something all the time, and that is not the Teaching of the Buddha about anatta and suññata. So, how can there be the understanding of the truth. So without the understanding of the word from the Buddha from his enlightenment no one can let go of the idea of something and someone.
